The Basic Rifle class (NRA First Steps Rifle Orientation Course format) provides a hands-on introduction for the safe handling of and proper orientation to .22 caliber rifles. This class is the perfect start for beginners who want to learn to target shoot with a .22 caliber rifle. The course includes both classroom lessons and range shooting time.
Students will learn the NRA's rules for safe gun handling; rifle model parts and operation; ammunition basics; shooting fundamentals; rifle maintenance; and continued opportunities for skill development.
